Forentec joins Lineal, expanding global investigations and cyber capabilities

The acquisition connects Forentec’s Swiss expertise in digital forensics, cyber security and open-source intelligence with Lineal’s international eDiscovery, investigations and legal technology capabilities.

Dübendorf, Switzerland, 14 October 2026 — Forentec AG has joined Lineal, a global provider of legal technology and services. The acquisition establishes Lineal’s presence in Switzerland and creates new opportunities for Forentec’s clients and team.

Joining Lineal brings together complementary expertise across eDiscovery, digital forensics, cyber security and open-source intelligence (OSINT). Forentec clients will gain access to Lineal’s broader international resources, managed review services and AI capabilities, while Forentec’s specialists will help expand the group’s cyber security, OSINT and digital investigations offering globally.

Headquartered in Dübendorf, Forentec supports law firms, corporations, financial institutions, insurers and public authorities in complex investigations, litigation and cyber incidents. Its work spans the identification and preservation of digital evidence, eDiscovery, cyber incident response, and intelligence gathering and analysis from publicly available sources.
